FAQ

This plugin enables visitors to your store to select PAXI as a shipping method.

This plugin will then apply a flat rate of R59.95 to the order as shipping cost but what no other plugin will do is to request a PAXI Point where the order need to be sent to.

The free version of this plugin also assumes a delivery time of 7-9 working days which is indicated on the checkout page.
Even the Free version of this Plugin is smart enough to see whether the PAXI Point Location field has been provided or left blank, and will show an error to the user, on submission of the order, stating that the PAXI Point was not supplied (if this is the case).

They will hen have to provide the PAXI Point Location code before they can go on.
Human error is always a possibility, but in an effort to try to minimise this, the Free version of this plugin, will read the data entered and check if it consists of 5 characters.

If it does, the plugin assume that the number entered is correct.
When they try to submit the order, another error will be displayed indicating that the PAXI Point provided, does not seem to be correct.
We made if pretty easy to find out. Both by clicking on the text link “Locate your nearest PAXI Point” (directly above the input filed) and on the link provided in the error (if no location was provided), they will open the PAXI Points lookup in a new window to determine the code of their nearest or most-convenient PAXI Point.
No, Web-X.co.za a third party realised the shortcoming of this feature when developing a WordPress, WooCommerce Shop for on of their clients, and decided to build the solution as a plugin (and in he process make it more broadly available) rather than adding the code to the site in question alone.
